Success for Ischia Baskin at the “Dream Cup”



The first edition of the Baskin Dream Cup was a great celebration of sport and inclusion. In Buonabitacolo (SA), a national Baskin tournament sponsored by EISI (Italian Inclusive Sports Organization) and CIP (Italian Paralympic Committee). Tournament organized by the Cooperativa Il Sentiero del Presidente Marotta. Eureka Baskin Monza, Baskinsieme Napoli, Ischia Baskin and Il Sentiero Baskin were the participating teams.
The excitement was sky-high for all the boys and girls who took to the field in the presence of the testimonial of the Baskin Dream Cup, Valerio Amoroso, a player who has played on the Serie A parquet and worn the blue jersey, who made his debut as role #5 of Baskin.










The atmosphere was one of great celebration and fun during the two evenings of the weekend, with the four teams mentioned above sharing spectacular moments together with dancing, singing and many prizes made available to the athletes.
The tournament opened on Friday with the challenge between Il Sentiero Baskin and Eureka, won by Annalia Cutolo's team. The second match of the day saw Ischia Baskin win against Baskinsieme.
On Saturday, instead, the challenges between Il Sentiero and Baskinsieme were played, with the success of the black and greens, then Eureka and Baskinsieme took to the field, with the Lombard success. The first classified (Ischia) played against the fourth (Baskinsieme) with the resounding victory of the Neapolitans.
On the final day, Sentiero Baskin and Ischia Baskin opened the dance with the island victory. The final went to Eureka Basket Monza, who prevailed against Baskinsieme and won the Dream Baskin Cup.
At the end of the meeting, the mayor of Buonabitacolo, Giancarlo Guercio, awarded all the athletes present. Special thanks to the Cooperativa Il Sentiero for the beautiful organization and for the atmosphere of great celebration breathed for 3 intense days. Long live Baskin.
